The Dirt Track World Championship is one of dirt late model racing's legendary crown-jewel events. The race has traveled throughout the region and has been contested at West Virginia Motor Speedway multiple times throughout its history.
Now the championship returns to Mineral Wells for a new chapter on the reconfigured WVMS oval.

When is the 2026 DTWC?
Thursday through Saturday, October 15–17, 2026.
What Time Do Gates Open?
All gates open at 10am DAILY. Chairs can be placed at 10am Thursday.
Are kids free?
Kids 5 and under are free. Kids 6–12 are $60 in advance or $80 at the gate.
Can I camp at WVMS?
Yes. WVMS offers several camping areas for the DTWC, including reserved Creekside and VIP Creekside camping, subject to availability.
What Time Does It Start?
Racing starts at 5:00pm daily. Check WVMS social media and the event page for updates.
