Short Track Debut!

West Virginia Motor Speedway is proud to announce class rules and payouts for the highly anticipated “Short Track Debut” on Saturday, October 11th. This history-making event marks the grand unveiling of the all-new semi-banked red clay oval at WVMS, and fans can expect an action-packed night of racing with some of the region’s best competitors across multiple divisions. In an effort to encompass many area cars/track packages for our fall debut, the rules are as follows;

CARS MUST WEIGH 2350LBS + 1LB per lap burnoff in A-Main.

CARS MUST WEIGHT 2400LBS. No burnoff.

CARS MUST WEIGHT 2500LBS. (2350 GM 602 Sealed Crate) No burnoff.

American All-Star Series: Pro 2 & Pro 4

UMP Modifieds will pay $1,200 to win and $600 for second, with third at $400, fourth at $325, and fifth at $275. The purse continues strong through the field, paying $125 from 15th through 20th place. Pro Late Models will pay $1,000 to win, $500 for second, $400 for third, $300 for fourth, and $250 for fifth. Payouts remain steady all the way through the field with $100 from 17th to 20th place.  Sport Mods will pay $700 to win, $300 for second, $250 for third, $200 for fourth, and $170 for fifth. From 14th on back, the class maintains a guaranteed payout of $75 for all starters through 20th position. Super Late Models headline the event with a massive $5,000 to win payout. Second place will take home $2,000, third $1,200, fourth $900, and fifth $700. The purse remains strong throughout the field, with $300 guaranteed to all positions through 20th place.
